Here is exactly what goes into every kilogram, and why it is there.

The Electrical Hardware (90% of weight)

This is the cargo. The reason you are here.

  • Pink Himalayan Salt (526g/kg): Sourced for raw sodium and trace elements.

    It delivers 800mg of Sodium per sachet.

    We use this unrefined salt rather than industrial table salt purely for the trace mineral profile.

  • Potassium Chloride (288g/kg): Provides 600mg of Potassium and ~550mg of Chloride per sachet.

    Under GB regulations, Potassium contributes to normal functioning of the nervous system and normal muscle function.

  • Magnesium Citrate (84g/kg): A bioavailable mineral isolate. It delivers 100mg of Magnesium per sachet.

    Under GB regulations, Magnesium contributes to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue, normal muscle function, and electrolyte balance.

    We use citrate over oxide because the body absorbs it; oxide is cheaper, but it mostly just passes through you.

The Sachet Requirements (10% of weight)

If we shipped raw minerals in bulk, you would throw them up. If we put them into a sachet machine raw, the factory line would seize up.

These ingredients solve those mechanical problems. Nothing else.

  • Silicon Dioxide (10g/kg): This is food-grade silica (1% of the mix). Raw minerals are hygroscopic—they pull moisture from the air. Without this, your powder would turn to wet paste inside the factory and harden into a solid brick in your pocket.

  • Natural Flavouring & Malic Acid (87g/kg): Raw potassium chloride tastes like bitter metal. Natural citrus oils and malic acid (the organic compound found in green apples) cut through that bitterness. The result is sharp citrus salt.

    It is fundamentally salty, not sweet.

  • Stevia (5g/kg): This is 0.5% of the mix. We don't use it to make a sweet treat—UpBy9 is still salty.

    It is here simply to bind to your bitter taste receptors so your throat doesn't instinctively reject the potassium on contact.
